Final 2008 class outing

ALRIGHT PPL, LISTEN UP!!!

Ok, from what my intel tells me, alot of you guys won't be able to make it for the House-hopping thing. It's weird cuz, different days will have different ppl going. It's ok, i know inter-schools are uber early next year, SYF next year (methinks) so all of us nid to train.

SO WHAT I SUGGEST IS THIS:

Preliminary Idea
Task Chosen: Journeys
Project title: A day at the beach

Our group will be following closely the journey of beach-goers. Our project's aim is to allow more people to have fun at the beach and promote outdoor sports. We will be targeting JC students especially VJC students of class 08s66 because they're all muggers and need a break. (lolpwnt) The date of our pilot project: Day at the Beach is still not confirmed yet but our group has roughly planned the itinery of our Day at the Beach. It will be as follows.

10000: Meet up at ECP
13000: Lunch at somewhere nearby
19000: BBQ dinner
> 0000: Camp

Games played could be the Not So Amazing As The Amazing Race, Capture the Flag, Beach Volleyball (Ah hui muz give chance) and other random spastic games that participants might want to play.

For the participants who are really into the outdoors or simply live too far away to catch the last bus/train, our group suggests camping over at ECP for the night before leaving the next morning. Our group has the resources to make a camp as participants are likely to own tents and sleeping bags.

Our project is feasible and will be carried out soon.

Ok now on a more serious note (bing!), pls leave a comment at the bottom the dates you are free THIS MONTH aka november and whether you are in favour of this outing. The PRCs will be leaving soon and we must carpe diem! Make it quick chop chop. Time is running out.

As far as I know the girls have already come up with a team of 5 which means that 5 more are needed to form the full group of 10. So guys...自动一点 ah (take initiative for the non-Chinese speaking persons)

Just some details to take note off:

-Its somewhere in the middle of Jurong
-The thing is around 2hrs
-$48 per person (includes 40 pellets and a free discovery center ticket!)
-For the trigger happy people, additional pellets are at 20 for $10 and 40 for $15
-Getting shot hurts! and your clothing will be more colourful at the end of it (ink is washable so forget about bleach)

Olympic Finals: Chicken Chop Speed Category

Participants:

Yap Hsien Liang from Soccerland

Nicholas Chan from LOLWTFOMFGHAXX-sia

Desmond Tan from Kalimdor

It was a battle for the Gold medal. Chicken Chop comprised of:

1. Chicken Chop and gravy

2. 1 serving of mashed potatoes

3. 1 serving of coleslaw

However, Hsien Liang decided to go the extra mile and added 2 chicken drumlets to his Chicken Chop meal. Turned out that it was an extremely foolish thing to do.

Hsien Liang was also almost kicked out of the competition for alleged cheating. Rule 1.3.2 clearly stated SPREADING MASHED POTATOES ON CHICKEN IS NOT ALLOWED. However, the other participants and the IOC did not want to pursue the matter. Lucky for Hsien Liang

Results of the intense competition is as follows:

Gold - Desmond Tan from Kalimdor (2:00 minutes)

Silver - Nicholas Chan from LOLWTFOMFGHAXX-sia (2:00 + alot)

Bronze - Yap Hsien Liang from Soccerland (2:00 + alot + EVEN MORE)
